Showcasing Art by LONA

I was born in Sacramento, California, and have  been consumed with art since I was 3 years old.   I knew from the very start what I wanted to do with the rest of my life.  From my childhood and through my teens and early adulthood, I knew and pursued my passion for drawing, painting and design.

In addition to creating fine art, I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Graphic Design from San Jose State University and have been a professional Graphic Designer for over 34 years. 

I have  won many national awards for my design work, including a Benjamin Franklin Award - Best of Show, an Addy Award, and many American Graphic Design Awards. 

So after 12 years of working commercially as a professional Graphic Designer, in the year 2000, I took a year off to live in Paris, France, to focus on painting.  During that year, I spent my time traveling, drawing, painting and developing my unique artistic style, and returned to the States with over 30 paintings.

Since that wonderful adventure, I have owned and operated my own art galleries and currently, I operate Fine Art & Design by LONA, Inc., in Los Angeles.  Additionally, I have been a guest artist aboard international cruise ships selling my artwork and now I have collectors from all over the world.
